How AI is NOT a Human Voice Talent!

Yes a AI voice over can clone a voice to sound like you, or use another cloned voice talent.

But AI voice over can not easily…

-take live direction over zoom, source connect, etc
-deliver real human emotion and feelings
-act as a creative participant offering feedback during a session
-understand how to increase or decrease the speed of a broadcast read
-change patterns, paces and tempos on lines on the fly
-tell the story taking the audiobook listener, or video watcher away
-offer walla, burps, or human sfx within a single line
-elongate words, or pullllll on select words within a read
-change character voices on the fly when reading multiple roles
-include natural stalls, or pauses, and beats unlike written punctuation
-pronounce words like casino not as casin no
-use dynamic words and phrases to hit important points, dialogue, etc
-change colors and voice range (pitch) on the fly

And these my vo friends are just a few things to start. After thousand of sessions over 35-years, I’ve been directed to, and directed talent to do just these and more.

Good luck getting AI to do that live! Producers will find this out soon enough.
